Just do not straighten your knees when doing any form of exercise and you'll be fine... Always keep a slight bend in the knee joint and you will be fine!
Linda
Thanks to all for your suggestions. I was hoping to get something more than squats and lunges but I guess I'll just stick with what works. Darcy, in regard to the curtsy lunges, I am skeptical of anything that twists the knee that way. I have really bad knees and these would not be good for me so I am very cautious with my clients even if they have no knee problems. Anyone have comments on the pressure on knees when it comes to doing lunges and squats? I am overly diligent on watching the knee joint but I see a lot of trainers not caring for their clients knees when doing these. Comments?
Curtsy lunges! I think they are great butt burners :)
