First off great start of a brief on your potential client.
I would suggest a thorough health risk appraisal and contacting here primary care manager for clearance in relation to her past surgeries and current medications. After cleared it would be suggested to complete an additional fitness assessment that would include a functional or postural movement on top of the standardized items like vital signs, body composition, flexibility, possible limit strength, muscular endurance and cardiovascular testing.

Hi!
I'm speaking to a possible new client tomorrow. I'm concerned with
some of her existing issues.
She's 52, and has had hip replacement. Some joint issues and mild
arthritis. She also has some lower back issues...
She's been on Weight Watcher diets and has attained her goal weight,
still gets in some cardio and mild exercising, but wants motivation
and to firm up, mostly around her hips and belly. She complains also
about the dreaded "belly pooch."
I know she needs to concentrate not on body weight, but on BFI and
measurements and such. Any other advice or things I should look for?
I'm also going to ask about medications she may be on, as she
mentioned rapid weight gain and loss due to certain medications she
took in the past.
Thank you!
